Beyond Stereotypes

Filmed and directed by Justin Temple, this 50-minute educational documentary was produced for Warwick University and gives a snapshot of the RIME project in action.

RIME (Releasing Indigenous Multiculturalism through Education) was a three-year programme, funded by the European Initiative for Democracy and Human Rights, which involved the implementation of the United Nations World Conference in Durban agenda on combating racism, xenophobia and related intolerances.

The project had local partners in Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro, Croatia, and the Southern Caucasus. BEYOND STEREOTYPES focused on three of these – in Croatia, Georgia and Abkhazia.
